Nursery Illness Policy

A warm welcome awaits your child in the nursery if he/she has been free of the following symptoms and/or illnesses in the last 24 hours:

  • Fever
  • Impetigo
  • Measles
  • Coughing
  • Mumps
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Active chicken pox
  • Questionable rashes*
  • Runny nose*
  • Conjunctivitis (pink eye)

*If your child has a continually clear, runny nose or a rash due to non-contagious allergies, please let us know.  We realize that some symptoms hang on long after the child is no longer contagious.  Remember, we want all of our children and workers to remain healthy and happy.

If your child is being treated with antibiotics, he/she should be on the medication at least 48 hours before coming to the nursery.
