The Fairbanks Rescue Mission is the only emergency shelter for men, women, and children in Interior Alaska, an area the size of Texas.  They have served the homeless of this area since 1974.  In addition to emergency shelter, food and clothing their programs include the FAITH Homeless Veteran’s Program, Genesis Recovery Program, and the Green Collar Job Program offered through FRM Recycling Center.  They are a member of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions.

Since its inception in 1974, the Fairbanks Rescue Mission has served the needy in Fairbanks for 30 years. Besides offering overnight shelter, recovery programs exist for men and women. The chapel hosts many activities in addition to gospel services that accompany lunch and dinner. A modern industrial kitchen serves the separate men and women’s dining rooms.
