Trying out a new church can sometimes be intimidating. We're going to break down our services and give you some "insider tips" for your first visit to Bethel.
What to Expect
Bethel Services
Our services are at 9:15 and 11:00 AM each Sunday.
- Get there 10 minutes early so you have time to grab a coffee and have no trouble finding a seat.
- Is the dress casual or dressy? YES! You will see people wearing jeans and a t-shirt as well as slacks and dresses. Dress in whatever is comfortable for you.
- The services run approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes on average.
- Our order of service is usually: 3 worship songs, the message, 1 song, offering, 1 song, and the benediction.
- As a first-time attendee, don't feel obligated to give anything for the offering. We would love for you to fill out the connect card and drop that in the plate (there will be one in your bulletin, and a pen under the chair in front of you).
- We have communion on the first Sunday of the month. We invite anyone who has given their life to Jesus to partake with us. We will pass out the bread and juice, and then take the elements together (the bread is in a cup under the juice).
Sunday School/Nursery
- Babies 6 weeks to 24 months can take advantage of the nursery, which is on the 2nd floor (same floor as the auditorium).
- Children's Sunday School classes for ages 2 - 2nd Grade are downstairs. Check your child in on one of the computers before taking them to class.
