Children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry Sunday School program is for children 2 years through 6th grade.

We desire to be a support to parents by offering a dynamic ministry to their children. Our goal is to help children learn about God, develop a relationship with Him, and walk in His ways.

VOLUNTEER TRAINING LUNCHEON

Hosted by Kayla Oeth, owner of Aspire Behavior Solutions, this training will equip Sunday school teachers and helpers to accommodate families with children who have special needs, allowing parents to participate in church services while keeping classes running smoothly and efficiently.

All Sunday School volunteers are encouraged to participate in this valuable training, enabling us to confidently welcome all little ones and their families to Bethel with a deeper understanding of each child’s unique needs.

Lunch will be provided, and the training will include a time for Q&A.

Children's Sunday School Curriculum

In Sunday School kids ages 2-6th Grade are using The Gospel Project curriculum. This curriculum goes through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and the kids hear how the lessons point to the Gospel each week!

We are currently working through units 9 & 10

Unit 9 Description

Regardless of sin patterns and disobedience, God continued to see His people and hear their requests and desires. God’s provision is seen through His gifts of a kinsman redeemer for Ruth’s family, a son with a prophetic calling for Hannah, and freedom and protection for the Israelites from the Philistines. God’s plan remained steadfast, despite humanity’s brokenness.

Unit 10 Description

In foolishness, God’s people begged for a king like the nations around them. Though Israel rejected God as their king, God mercifully warned them and gave them the king they desired—King Saul. However, despite Saul’s regal appearance, his foolish disobedience led to God’s rejection of him as king. Instead, God replaced him with a man after His own heart to rule His people.
